Well I have installed Windows 7 on the computer of mine. as the title suggest what I am going to ask over here. I am repeating again that Movie Maker in Windows 7 is having an option to capture from the video device. I know that this particular option is not available in Windows Vista and Windows XP. let me know if you are having any idea regarding that particular issue would be highly appreciated. Thanks a lot in advance.

Well for your kind information Windows 7 doesn’t include Movie Maker in the Operating System itself. You need to download and install Windows Movie Maker manually on the computer of yours. You can get this particular application software from the official website of the Windows Live. You can also use the software which are come along with the webcam in order to capture the Video and import the same to the Windows Movie Maker for doing editing and enhancements. In case that particular software is not available then you can get such software from the internet.

Video Acquire Wizard in the Windows Live Suite is the by default tool to import things to Windows 7. Whenever you have plugged the camcorder and simply turned in to VCR mode it will prompt that it has begin with the importing process. File type would be DA-AVI. Once the import session has been finished Photo Gallery will launch in the screen automatically and simply provide the thumbnail for the new clip which you have created. You need to use Windows Live Photo Gallery for the purpose of Collection library.

You can use the following thing which you can apply to capture from the video.

* You have to see that Digital Camera or memory card reader is turned on and it is connected to the computer.
* You have to launch the Windows Live Photo Gallery. Click on the Home button and go for Import Photo.
* From the Import Photos and Videos and choose the device which you wanted to use and click on the import button
* You can click on the More Options and choose the Option which you wanted to use such as saving the file to the preferred location or save the file in to appropriate format.

Re: Installing AutoCAD 2004 on Windows 7
Well looking at the situation which you have provided I let you know that AutoCAD 2004 is not compatible with Windows Vista or Windows 7 at all. If you are going to use AutoCAD 2007 then you need to use service pack to run this particular software on Windows Vista. In case you have installed that particular software on the computer then I am suspecting that it might become completely unstable on the computer of yours.

Just for trying I am suggesting that you should try to use this particular program in to Compatibility mode.

* You have to right click on the program and go for Properties and click on the Compatibility mode. You have to click on the Run this program into Compatibility mode for checkbox.
* You need to choose the desired operating system form the list so that you can run the program under the desired Compatibility with the operating system.

If you have installed Windows 7 and you can try with the Windows XP mode and the Virtual PC. Widows XP mode would require the following thing.

* First of all very basic it should have Windows 7,
* A computer which can do the hardware visualization . well it means that CPU of the computer would have either Intel VT or AMD Visualization.
* Finally visualization feature should be turn on to the BIOS of your computer.

Well i have figured out the after disabling the Integration in XP mode and you can start the Autocad on the computer. In order to disable the Integration mode you have to Choose Tools which is located on the the menu bar of the virtual XP mode. Now launch the Autocad and again go for Tools in the Virtual PC XP mode. Now click on the Enable Integration. I am hoping that it will help you to fix the matter of yours.

No sound on my system while recording audio

No sound on my system while recording audio
I recently upgraded to Windows 7. After updating my audio I have seen that it did not work. I tried to update the audio driver, automatically through windows, and manually from the manufacturer's website. I am using an Dell laptop. Window detects the trouble and tries to apply a correction, saying that there is a problem with HD devise. It continues, reinstall the driver may be solve this trouble. But after doing this nothing happen in this. I have tried many solutions which is given on to the Microsoft website but nothing helps me. So finally, I tried to download and install the driver from the dell website, each version for every OS offers. A driver is not available of window 7, only Vista, XP and 2000. Each downloaded drivers encountered an error during installation and could not be loaded. The elaborate audio says its general properties to be developed can not start (Code 10). No updates for the controller design are available. Any idea how to get my sound to work again?

Re: No sound on my system while recording audio
System Restore helps you to restore your system files to a previous point in time. It is a way to undo change to your PC system without affecting your personal files. Sometimes, installing a program or a driver can cause an unexpected modification in the equipment or cause Windows to behave unpredictably. Typically, when you uninstall the program or correct the driver trouble. If uninstalling does not resolve the difficulty, so you are able to try to restore your computer system to an earlier date when the whole thing worked correctly. So I will suggest you to go for this I am sure that it will help you.

Re: No sound on my system while recording audio
System Restore make uses of a feature which is called System Protection to frequently create and save restore points on your computer. These restore points hold data regarding registry settings and other system data that Windows uses. You are also able to create restore points manually. System backup images stored on hard drives can also be used for System Restore, like restore points shaped by the system protection. Although the backup system images hold the system files and personal data, your data those will not be affected by System Restore. It is not designed to back up personal files, so you cannot help you recover a personal file that was deleted or damaged. You regularly back up your personal files and sensitive data with a backup program. For more information about backing up personal files, see Back up your files. So as much I know about it I have told you over here and I am sure that it will help you.

Re: No sound on my system while recording audio
Here are the steps through which you will be able to restore the data:

1. So first thing you have to Open System Restore by ticking the Start button
2. And in search box just type System Restore
3. After that in the list of the results tick system restore.
4. And in this if you are prompted for the admin password or confirmation then you just type that. Only this much you have to do.

By contrast, the subwoofer sounds that are supposed to through the speaker RR. I also noticed that the speaker properties dialog shows wrong color shots in the section data Jack. Sub C should be orange and RL RR must be black. On the other hand, in this dialogue of the Subcommittee C is black and making RL RR is orange. So if you guys have any suggestion on the same so please help me.

Re: Windows 7 HD audio device does not respond
I am also facing this issue actually rolling Back Windows XP resolve the problem. Realtek install new drivers for Windows 7 fixes that problem but I cannot control the headset and rear speaker jacks LR independent, and cannot listen to headphones without raising the volume of the speakers. Dell does not offer an updated driver for this device to Windows 7. I've also done a strange thing and install and run Mac OS X on this machine just to test the audio and even then the operating system takes the speakers are working properly, as they did in Windows XP Media Center. The trouble is absolutely in the Windows 7 driver version for this device. From what I read seems to have also been in the Vista version of the driver. "Microsoft has available a patch to fix this problem? Or, is there any other way to modify the jacks on the controller? The chipset is ALC880. I do not want to manually alter the plugs and jacks as this will not work for any other OS might as well start this team. Install the generic driver from Realtek is not an option that I need to have independent control over headphones and speaker volume. Anyone know a solution or a registry change that can make sharing footage on the controller? Help would be appreciated.

Re: Windows 7 HD audio device does not respond
There should be an choice in the advanced part of the Realtek control panel to get rid of the front headphone and line out jack back. Have you checked there? Realtek looks like the 880 is not well-matched with Realtek in Vista / Windows 7, so that it may removed the option. If you do not see it, I recommend checking with your support and see if there is any option to activate it. The inbox HD Audio class driver reads only the values that the machine is configured. Not compatible with power restasking as a third party audio drivers do.

Re: Windows 7 HD audio device does not respond
Thanks for the link, but this does not seem to apply to my chipset. My chipset is supported by these drivers in Windows 2000 and Windows XP, but my chipset is not listed as well-matched along with Windows 7 with these drivers. My chipset ALC880, which is not on the list for Windows 7 or Vista. I download and install the most recent drivers previous to posting here and those who worked to initialize the good takes, but my headphones and not on sound volume separately and headphones do not work at all.

Re: Windows 7 HD audio device does not respond
I tried the driver anyway, thinking that maybe the most recent version which will resolves the problem. Same problem, no change. Recover the use of headphones again. Uninstall Realtek drivers and codecs and allows Windows 7 to install the native drivers. Retrieved headphone sound, but RR and RL C Sub exchanged shots again displayed correctly in Windows 7 for dialogue.

I also have one driver for you that is MSI GX710 Card Reader. Drivers are software that allow the operating system interact with various peripherals that counts. It is similar to an instruction manual that tells how to communicate and control the computer to a particular device. This makes the drivers are an essential element of the operation of your computer, as if they could not articulate the CPU with other components. To use MSI GX710 need Card Reader:

Do not fail to remember to stay updated on the drivers with me, if you want any software or any latest games information just let me know, I just try to find it for you. Attempt to set a system restore point previous to setup a device driver. This will facilitate if you setup an unsuitable driver. Troubles can take place while your hardware device is too old or no lengthy compatible.

Media Center Resolution changes and do not stick on windows 7

Media Center Resolution changes and do not stick on windows 7
I am utilizing Windows 7 Ultimate and the windows 7 ultimate is linked to Pioneer through High-Definition Multimedia Interface and after that linked to a Samsung TV and it’s as well through High-Definition Multimedia Interface. Everything is working, but every time I start media center, center media changes the resolution (1440x900, IIRC). Then go into "TV Settings" and reset the resolution to 1920x1080. Everything is then fine; I can use 7MC without any problem. When I leave 7MC, my desk looks good (also set at 1920x1080). However, as soon as you restart 7MC, the resolution (in the media center) will revert back to 1440x900. Just do not "stick", no matter what changes the resolution (7MC interior) will not remain persistent between runs of the program. The video card is an ATI 4850, running the newest Catalyst drivers. I prepared a custom resolution, presently to be confident, nothing seems to have any effect on him as soon as you exit and reopen media center changes the resolution. Also, I tried to "re-run Setup" in the Media Center for any success. I am connected to the machine in an account with administrator privileges.

I'd suggest performing the clean boot so you can solve your problem. To perform clean boot follow these steps: get on the Start sign from the desktop and after that select on the run and type msconfig and next hit enter. Throughout this moment you will be incited to enter the administrator password for authentication of the password and then continue. Now under the clean boot, go to the general tab and then hit the Start button and then make unchecked on selective radio marking load startup items. After this go to the services tab and choose the check box Hide All Microsoft Services, hit on Disable All button and subsequently make a hit on the OK button. I assume this will assist a lot.

In my opinion, I also believe that the problem you mentioned in your post is supposed to occur for the center of the media, so I recommend you download the latest version of the web site developer and replace the existing one, can be emitted from the previous version. Try this, if this does not help, it's just for the graphics configuration, change the settings, I would also suggest that you upgrade the controller firmware version, if the problems with the graphics driver or the optimal solution, then this will surely help solve the problem.

The setting is where i thought it should be: first go to the Tasks and then select the Settings. Under the settings make hit on the TV and after that go to the TV set or monitor. I have my TV connected to an S-video cable, and I had chosen this configuration, which gave me no options to change the resolution. Apparently, if I say I have a media center running TV through a VGA cable, I get a complete list of screen resolutions I can choose, and this works flawlessly.

Can Photoshop CS4 work on Windows 7 x64

Can Photoshop CS4 work on Windows 7 x64
Let me know if Photoshop CS4 will run on Windows 7 64 bit. I tried the MS support site, but does not appear in one way or another - which looks like a major omission for such an important program. I am unable to find any information on the Adobe website regarding the same. I do not want to spend money on Photoshop loads, if it will not work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Nothing to do with your hard drive, adobe CS4 is a professional software is very resource-hungry processor, memory, RAM, graphics card, nothing to do with the capacity of the hard drive. It is the rotation speed of a hard drive! I think you do not realize Photoshop CS4 package that to pay 2000euros, is a software professional who needs a machine "race"! A computer superstore has going charge 400euros, is software that is much tastier than see the games today! If you plan to do some photo processing invested in a desktop computer and not a laptop and if you do not want to ruin there CS4 with Gimp!

Photoshop CS4 is pa that is complicated to use, it's just that it costs a whopping sum of 1015 € or so and I speak not of CS4! So for me this is not legally obtained PS software for all the world, all Simply because all the world has no use, especially if it's for some editing and some less sophisticated effects editor there are alternative, less so after good couteuse. But those who have preferred to invest in PS rather than in a computer a bit more powerful is their choice.

Re: Can Photoshop CS4 work on Windows 7 x64
Here I have provided some of the tests that I have personally gone through so you may decide on yourself that what could happen and what cannot.

* CS4, yes, perfect operation. And it moved to native 64-bit mode. CS3: not tested.
* Dreamweaver and other software as part of CS4 Master Collection (ie including Acrobat 9): yes. No worries.
* Acrobat 6: No idea
* Flash CS4 yes, but I do not know about earlier versions

Excellent device-level recognition. I do not have your hardware to test, but I do not see why it would be inconsistent.

See one thing is clear that if it the program that you wish to run on your Windows 7 64 bit machine is not compatible with the 64 bit machine then it is not at all going to work with it, No matter what you do. Still I guess you can check about this issue by trying to use this program from the safe mode of the Windows Operating system which may does not show you any such issue.
